Don has over 25 years experience in the real estate industry including commercial real estate
valuation, consulting, sales and leasing. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Real Estate from the University of
Georgia in 1983. He holds the MAI designation as a member of the Appraisal Institute and is a licensed Certified General Appraiser in the
state of Georgia. He has testified as an expert witness involving real estate matters and served on numerous arbitration boards involving property valuation disputes. He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Georgia and member of the Savannah / Hilton Head Realtors
Commercial Alliance and has participated in numerous Hotel and large land tract sales. He has an in depth understanding of the hospitality
industry having been involved in the valuation, consultation or sale of over 100 Hotel properties across the southeastern United States. He has had
extensive involvement in the re-zoning, financial analysis, Highest and Best Use Analysis and purchase/sale negotiations on behalf of his clients. Don is a past President of the Savannah Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
